As a new LT member and Wodehouse devotee I could not let the 130th birthday of the great man pass without celebrating.
I read his short story, "The Man Upstairs" today. It features one of these feisty girls, battling against poverty with a brave smile whom Wodehouse loved. There is also a very amiable hero and a story with a twist in the tale. Has anyone else chosen today to read something by Wodehouse?

I'm sorry to say that I was unaware of his birthday, so thanks for pointing it out. I have no excuse.

A few months to go until Plum's next anniversary.
If there was to be a name for such a memorable date what might we call it?
