What are you eating?

Okay, so we all know what everyone is reading--tell us what’s in your refrigerator!

Let’s see: I’ve got some pita bread and hummus, lettuce, onion, celery, tortillas, some fantastic green chile, kung pow tofu, and, uh, hmmm. I don’t know what that used to be--I’d better get rid of it...

My last husband.

Well, parts of him, anyway.

#7 - That could just mean I've kept it in the fridge too long.

Truth is I'm still married to my first and only husband... so far. ;o) Maybe I should be like my good friend darrow and refer to my him as my 'present' spouse!

And you good folks don't want to know what's in my fridge. (But if you do, I'd have to say it's mainly cheese, and then a lot of tiny containers of leftovers that defy description.)

Whatever I want! The couple days after a marathon, I eat anything that sounds even remotely good. Today it's big cookies and cheesy breads!

What's a cheesy bread? Sounds like something I would adore!

Clam, you've never eaten cheesy bread!? It's bread that's made with cheese inside and out. Depending on the type you get, there's cheese mixed into the dough and then additional cheese sprinkled on top during baking.

Are there Panera Bread restaurants near you? They're a chain and they sell a couple different types of cheese breads. Otherwise, check a local bakery. Or if no one around makes a good one, let me know I'll make you a loaf and mail it to you.

Yup, we have a Panera Bread not too far away. It always smells great, but I've never eaten there. Now I'll have to stop in. Not that I need all those carbs. Do they make a whole grain cheesy bread?

Hmm, not that I've seen. But the Asiago cheese bread is fat free (er .. before they add the cheese). :)

Or you can get it in bagel-form. That way you don't have to eat a whole loaf.

The fact that this topic came right after one on bugs was sorta entertaining. Course it's been weeks since it was wet enough around here to have any good batches of skeeters and such...

We have clouds of them, unfortunately.

Even my dog gets no rest outside.

I live in Arizona... a few mosquitos. I just visited Arkansas, Louisiana (lower Mississippi River). I have lots of bites, my hand swelled to twice its size. The welts turned into scabbed sores. What kind of bugs are there?!!?? And who would live in a place like that!??!! And they have alligators!!!!

It is good to be home (but I did admire the greenery).
