///drumroll\\\ It is Narratives of the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of 1906. Looks interesting. I was in San Francisco during the centennial observance of the quake and they had some terrific and terrifying museum displays. I already see copies on the secondary market in the $35 range. Yikes!

Cool! Thanks for the update. I read Locked Rooms by Laurie R King last month, which centers quite a lot of the plot around the 1906 earthquake and it made me more curious. It's a subject I'd very much like to learn more about. Thanks again.
