GROUP READ: Iron House (General, spoiler-free)

Here's a spoiler-free thread for John Hart's Iron House.

I just started the book today. I'm listening to it on audio. So far, so good.

I'll be joining in as soon as I finish my current audiobook.

I'm also doing Iron House on audio and am a little more than half way. I'm really liking it, too. The first time I've heard of this author - what else has he done?

4 Sandy, it looks like Hart has written 3 other novels -- The Last Child, The King of Lies, and Down River. I haven't read any of them until starting Iron House.

I loved The Last Child, one of the reasons I decided to join this GR.

I'm about halfway through. My favorite John Hart (so far) is Down River.

I'm about 25 pages or so in, and I had to force myself to put it away!! I have one John Hart left to read, which is The Last Child. I loved Down River as well, but I also greatly enjoyed King of Lies.

It sounds like I may have stumbled onto a "new" author!

I'm a couple of chapters in. I enjoyed the group read of Down River last year--it really leavens the more serious group reads I'm doing.

I'm over halfway through, and enjoying it a lot. I haven't visited the spoilers thread yet, as I don't want to see any spoilers beyond where I've already read.

Good. We're mainly discussing the dramatic conclusion over there, so wait until you've finished.
