It's the start of the new year and I will keep track of all the books I read in 2012 in this thread as soon as I finish the books.

#2: Thanks billie, I have been on a trip for a month and got some reading done but haven't kept track of it...

I have read A Storm of Swords which I loveeeed, I think the third installment in this series is much better than the second one, there is a lot of action and plot twists in this one.

I reread The bad beginning in order to finally reading the Lemony Snicket books.

I read The invention of Hugo Cabret which I really really liked and read in like one afternoon, I can't wait to watch the movie.

I finished A Feast for Crows and really liked it! Just a few more days till the new season of Game of Thrones!

I just finished The Hunger Games and thought it was pretty good, although a bit of a cliffhanger. Did you like the other books in the series?

I just finished A Dance with Dragons and I loved it! Now I have to wait for the other book to come out, oh well...

I just finished reading Clockwork Prince which was just ok, not the best one, I still prefer the first one and think it had a better story...

I just finished An Abundance of Katherines which I enjoyed very much, I have been struggling with a reading slump, hopefully I'm over it now!

I just finished Mistborn: The Final Empire which was really slow at first but it got much better in the end, I can't wait to read the second one but I'll put it on hold to read others in my TBR pile.

I just finished reading Ender's Game which I LOVED, it made me think a lot and it surprised me several times, great great book.

I finished the second book in the A series of unfortunate events, The Reptile Room which was really good. I'm slowly working through this series.

I finished reading the third book in the "A series of unfortunate events" series, The Wide Window which was as good as the other ones.

I forgot to write about The Night Circus which was absolutely amazing and I LOVED every bit of it, reading that book felt magical and ethereal.

I just finished City of Fallen Angels I think this series should have ended in book number 3...this one was not necessary at all.

I finished reading Life of Pi which was really good, I can't wait to watch the movie adaptation!

I also finished Bossypants which was light and exactly what I needed to read at the moment, and the last book I read was Ender in Exile which was good but I still prefer the first one in the series.

I have been wanting to read Life of Pi for quite a few years. I did not realize there was a movie of it.

#21: Hi, billiejean! Yes, there is a movie coming out this year! I am actually reading several books before the movies come out! I really recommend Life of Pi to you! Happy reading!

I finished reading Insurgent which was good, really enjoyable, though I enjoyed the first one more.

I haven't updated this thread in a while, so I finished Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children which was amazing, I couldn't put it down while reading it. I finished The Casual Vacancy which was good but not something I'll reread in the future. Also finished Room which was good and I finished The fault in our stars which was one of my favorite books ever, it was great and probably the best book I have read recently.
