What do you work on at Wikipedia? Do you use your books for reference material when editing, or is the knowlege all absorbed already?
I work on articles related to geotechnical engineering and construction, Irish dance, the Bay Area, and some political ones. I have the same username there as here.

I work mainly on linguistic topics. I also like translating between Wikipedias, mostly into English, but on occasion I'll translate short facts into Portuguese or Spanish, and I've also translated whole articles into Esperanto.
My other favorite thing to do is just to hit alt-x and see then go researching whatever I get, and try to add a tidbit or two. ☺

I've only posted corrections or minor updates to statistics. Plan to do a few cultural studies/internet studies pieces in the future, but I'm holding off until a few upcoming titles are released so they aren't based on unpublished or primary material.

I've been hacking on, and kind-of watching, the "Belly Dance" article, as well as a couple of subsidiary articles. Part of the issue with the article is that the dance form is not written about much, and there's not a lot of academic scholarship, either, although that's slowly changing. Ugh!

Bin posting pictures of Trafalgar 200. See Royal Navy and Sea Cadet Corps (United Kingdom). Had loads of problems with picture licencing but hopefully fixed now. I am a great believer in Wiki, sites like that can change the world for the good by helping educate the vast numbers of people in the world who have nothing. Although it could be argued that these often do not have access to electrictiy, let alone a computer.
