Hi Katie, I post on your Mom's thread and have a 7 year olod and a nearly 5 year old. We're looking forward to seeing what you read.

Ivy and Bean looks good - I have seen it at the library. Do you recommend it for a 5 year old?

#3 Thank you very much!

#4 Thank you for visiting my website again this year.

#5 It would be good for a five year old if they read chapter books. My favorite part of Ivy and Bean in the first book is their creativity. Ivy and Bean like to draw.

#6 Thank you.

Last night my father finished reading The Hobbit to me. I liked that there are happy parts and sad parts in it. Like when Thorn son of Thraine son of Throer King Under the Mountain dies. That was a very tragic part. I also like the part where big fat Bombor falls into the magic river that Biorn tells them not to fall into. My favorite character well actually I have a few favorite characters: Bilbo Baggins of Hobbiton, Gandalf the Wizard, Thorn son of Thraine, Bombor, and Biorn. I really hope you read it! It's very exciting!

Thanks Katie, I will get Ivy and Bean out of the library for Teresa soon. I haven't read the Hobbit yet but maybe I should read it with Fletcher!

The story Clementine is a story about a girl who goes to the principal on Monday being accused for cutting her friends hair off and at the end of the week even her mother is upset with her. Her story is fun and exciting. My favorite part is when Clementine figures out the Grate Pigeon War. Hope you read it!

I found the story Indian Captive a fascinating book. Where a young girl has to decide between living with whites or Indians. She decides well and lives a long, happy life. My favorite parts were when they were making things, like pots and bows and arrows. I guess I like those parts because I am crafty. I have already recommended this book to my mom, and she is going to read The Unredeemed Captive
