How was Good Omens? I just finished The Graveyard Book, loved it, and wanted to try more of Neil Gaiman's work.
5wookiebender
Oh, I'm a fan of Good Omens, I re-read it every now and then. It's a wonderful combination of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and it works wonderfully well.
Welcome back, Amy! Looks like you've done some great reading already!

32. 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
It took me 9 days to read this book. It was amazingly good, complex, and kept me guessing until the very end. I'm definitely going to be reading more Murakami in the future, but not until this term's over!

35. Love Struck by Melissa Marr
I ended up buying Graveminder this morning, instead of finishing For Fukui's Sake. I'm going to make myself finish the book I'm halfway through before devouring the delectable Melissa Marr novel, though.

I have been putting off getting IQ84 until I can spend a bit more time with it. Good to hear your impressions of it.
15AmyLynn
I absolutely loved it. I agree, find some quality time to spend with it, it definitely improves the experience.
36. For Fukui's Sake by Sam Baldwin
37. Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison
38. The Good, The Bad, and The Undead by Kim Harrison
Still holding back from reading Graveminder. Catching up on The Hollows series. I swear I read the first two books a few years ago, but I don't remember it at all...onto book 3, so now I don't feel guilty for forgetting.
I also need to catch up/re-read Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld & Gathering series. So we'll see what I end up picking once I finish the Hollows.

Hm, nothing really like The Night Circus that springs to mind. :) It was a bit of a one-off, that one.
21AmyLynn
It was pretty magical.
46. Two Ghosts for Sister Rachel by Kim Harrison
Started Korean Gakuhei, and it's a fascinating look at what was going on in Korea in World War II. My current university selfishly only covers China and Japan's perspectives in history, and it's important to know what other countries were experiencing at the time.

This is embarrassing. I started reading White Witch, Black Curse and wondered why she was referencing a bunch of unfamiliar things. Realized I'd skipped The Outlaw Demon Wails, and had to go back. It'll be interesting once I finish ODW to skip back to halfway through WWBC.

Finished
47. The Outlaw Demon Wails by Kim Harrison
Working on
Korean Gakuhei by John Young Sohn
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
White Witch, Black Curse by Kim Harrison
Vacation on the Island of Ex-Boyfriends by Stacy Bierlein
I wasn't actually as far through WWBC as I thought I was. Though I am ready for a break from the Hollows, I think. Any suggestions?

55. The Calling by Kelley Armstrong

Marr's next novel, Carnival of Souls sounds like it might be a good follow up to Night Circus. If not, well I love her work enough I'm sure I'll still enjoy it!

Also working on Welcome to Bordertown one short story at a time. Re-read Pride and Prejudice after enjoying the Vlog series. I am half heartedly reading The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, though I think I'm beginning to be a kindle addict. I'm not reading my paper books as much any more.

67. The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender
68. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
69. Hana by Lauren Oliver
70. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
I was so moved by Bender's novel, that I was emotionally unbalanced as I finished it. I'm only this deeply affected by books 2, perhaps 3 times a year. Very few novels are able to grasp my emotions so thoroughly. Sure, I'm sad when a book has an unhappy ending, but generally once I finish the book and move on, I'm fine. But Bender's prose struck deep, and my emotions were wrangled. How did I recover? By baking a lemon cake, and reading dystopian literature.
Pandemonium's ending bothered me, because of the predictable route. It will lead to quite an interesting final book in the trilogy, if she can make the situation she introduced unique. After reading the same plot twist by 5-6 other authors, I have my doubts. I dislike how girls are generally placed in this situation more than boys. I won't say anything else, because I don't want to ruin the book, but I want to know when Requiem comes out!
Working on River Marked now.

Have you tried Gina Koch, Lara Adrian, Keri Arthur or Illona Andrews for authors? Going my the fantasy you have listed you probably like these authors.

I've heard of the last two, but not the first, thank you! Any suggestions for John Green love? I read Maureen Johnson...
88. Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

96. Numb by Sean Ferrell
Crying my way through Little Bee. While I expected the plot twist, and I loved the voice, I did not factor in how much that voice affects me, and how that plot twist would hit with that voice. If that makes sense.

I didn't think Little Bee was a perfect book, but I thought it was a fascinating one, and I did love Little Bee herself. (We had a different title in Australia, which is escaping me now.) Glad you're enjoying it. (Er, does crying buckets count as enjoyment??)
42AmyLynn
I was really sad with the plot twist. I knew it was coming, but still. Also really disliked the love interest, and the open to interpretation ending.
97. Little Bee by Chris Cleave
98. Matched by Ally Condie
I think I'll be buying the next two books in the Matched series with holiday money this year. The 1984 love story is very nice. Just bought The First Confessor and Carnival of Souls to refresh my kindle.
