I sure hate to here that. There are a select few authors of southern fiction that I love to read. I've been waiting on his yet to be released The Lost Country. Is there any news in that front?

As I understand it, The Lost Country, is scheduled to be released soon. BUT it has been delayed several times already.

Gay's publisher, MacAdam Cage, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation recently. I don't know what this will mean for The Lost Country, which has never been published, but perhaps it will revert to his estate, and can be offered to another publisher.
