Finally, finally finished. There were times when I was so engrossed in this book, I just couldn't put it down. But then other times, I was bored out of my mind. Very strange but very good.
I think once I realised that it is not meant to be a solid novel but instead a story in five distinct parts, I understood it a little better. The man is a great writer, I really can't argue with that, but this wasn't quite the book for me.
