For March.
Finished:
Lush Life by Richard Price *****
A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr. *****
Prospects of Higher Educations: Globalization, Market Competition, Public Goods and the Future of the University by Simon Marginson ***1/2
River of Doubt by Candice Millard ****
Lighthousekeeping by Jeanette Winterson ***
Currently reading:
The Habit of Being by Flannery O'Connor
The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
Summer Knight by Jim Butcher
The Angel on the Roof by Russell Banks
Fourteen total books finished. I don't often give books (or any piece of art) five stars, so reading two back to back was quite exciting.

11 books is a good start!
Have you previously read the other two books from the Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers and The Return of the King?

I read Fellowship and part of the Two Towers about a decade ago, but ended up dropping them for some reason. I've always liked Tolkien (the Hobbit especially), so I thought I give them another go now that I'm older and bit more patient. So far so good!

Well, keep us informed of your progress!
I read the entire trilogy as a child (I was 11 and my older sister was reading them, so I had to 'copy' her!), and at one time figured I'd reread them about 20 or so times...at least once a year. As I've gotten older, I've gotten different insights into the books, so if you ever want to discuss'em, have at it!

I'm about half done with Fellowship, and I'm absolutely loving it. I put it and the O'Connor down for a bit to whittle away some other books.
