I welcome the end of such corny marketing nostalgia. "France in a glass," my ass.

If it's going to take two years to do renovations, it sounds as if they are tearing the whole place down.

I haven't been to any of them, but by the name alone, I want to visit the Frolic Room.

Five on my list... Tortoni, Floridita, Pedrocchi, Les deux magots and L’Antico Caffè Greco--the last one a fave despite ungodly popularity with tourists. Sadly, it's threatened with closure.
