At breakfast, if the mood is right and time sufficient, something connected to Thomas Mann. In transit, Walter Serner's vicious little stories of crime and dark passions. Around teatime (my favourite time, that I almost never make ordinarily, except on weekends now and then), one of twenty or fifty books bookmarked since the last ice age and lying chaotically around the apartment.

In bed (but I really ought to cut that out...), Georges Bernanos' Sous le soleil de Satan, Under Satan's Sun, a book which irritates me exquisitely.

Sounds perfect for bed then. :P

at breakfast, Mardi on my kindle, on the train going to work, Locke's Essay Concerning Human Understanding, on the train coming home from work, ditto, and in bed, Mardi again.

Har, :P to you too!

Bibi and Bambi Do Rio it's not.

Today is a drab, rainy Sunday. Today is a day for--originally I planned shopping and dusting and general cleaning, but forget that! The dust won't get any worse by next Sunday!--TEA, gallons and gallons, perhaps some cookies to go with, if I can be bothered to bake, and Eco, and... it would be good to dispatch the Bernanos, it's really dragging me down.
