OK this is closer to me

I didn't realize that there were challenges closer to my mad reading style. I've read 63 books as of the end of March. Already have 1 read for April and started on a second. I fear books are my addiction.

OK finally counted up April's books and I read another 23 books. This puts my total for the year at 86.

I can add another 22 books for May. My total now stands at 108. My reading is slowed just a bit because of getting outside and playing in my garden.

I'm adding 23 books for June. This puts my total at 131. Over half way to the challenge at half the year done.

I only read 19 books for July of course had to deal with the holiday week followed by my anniversary and birthday. I've now read 150 books this year.

I'm now at 174 books for this year. 24 down for this month. I have four days off work with nothing planned this coming week and plan on sticking my nose in books and only coming up to sleep and eat.

September was slow for me for reading but 19 more down. I'm at 193 for the year now. 57 more to go to hit the goal and busy time of year for me. I hope I can make it since the garden shop I work in is now converting over to the Christmas shoppe and I spent 40 hours the past week and a half building Christmas trees and now get to start on putting out ornaments and stuff this week.

The building part isn't much fun but the decoration bit is cool!

Building is definitely not fun when you don't like heights and two of the trees are 12 ft tall and four are 9 ft tall. I've been coming home from work covered in glitter this week as we are putting out all the ornaments now.

Another slow month thanks to work. I love working retail during this time of year. Read 16 books this month that makes 209 for the year. Hopefully I'll get some serious reading time the last half of November while hubby is gone hunting. 41 books to go to hit the challenge.

Only 14 books for November. This puts me at 223. I'm thinking I won't make it to 250 but it actually might be that high since I didn't start counting until mid January. I will be counting from day one next year so I truly know how many. I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving.

13 more books for December so 236 for the year. Only 14 short for the 250 but close enough. Next year I should make the 250 with out any problem. Here's to a prosperous new year for everyone.
