Dusk, Sionil Jose

I'm reading this book again and just wanted to share how much I love it. If you haven't read this, you are missing a good one. The language is beautiful. Is this required reading in Filipino schools? Also, wouldn't it make a great movie? I heard the film options were sold (if I used that terminology corrrectly).
