Sad to find Brits neglecting this group. Maybe the weather and the jubilee has taken up all your time.
I seem to have lost touch with almost everyone. I think, maybe, it is time to go back to writing. I'll see how the first recording session for the blind goes later in the month but reading is nothing like as satisfying as writing. Only trouble is, for the next book I have to do some research!

Sitting here with grey skies, wind howling round the house and the rain battering against the window, lately, rather saps one's inspiration a bit. I'm wondering if I've been misunderstanding the 'flaming' bit in 'flaming June'. I think we even had a hailstones a couple of nights ago - either that or the raindrops were hitting the window really, really hard. I suspect people are getting some sort of out-of-season version of seasonal affective disorder. Or, perhaps, all the sensible posters are away somewhere warm and sunny.

Anyway, all the best with that recording.
