If you're anywhere within 500 miles of the Midwest, it's likely you're roasting and your front yard looks like shredded wheat, yes?

So, while waiting for temps to cool, what's in your fridge to cool you off?

A friend gave me some dried spearmint from her garden; combined with strawberry black tea from our local Asian/health food grocery, it is lovely and cooling and pleasant.

Hibiscus Mint tea from www.bluemoontea.com - it's naturally sweetened with stevia, and smells and tastes divine!

Here in our part of the Midwest it is now starting to heat up again after a month of lovely weather. I make an iced tea with black tea, sugar and lemon balm leaves from the garden.
