My first definition came from wikipedia but this one should be more authoritative:

A Rule Against Murder = maar from Websters online dictionary - Noun 1. A flat-bottomed volcanic crater that was formed by an explosion; often filled with water.Wordnet.

I added the book Harp of Burma to Challenge #13 today, using the word Hob.

Dictionary Definition: A projection or shelf at the back or side of a fireplace, used for keeping food warm.

#7 and it's a word in common use in the UK to describe the top of the cooker/stove - eg I have an electric ceramic hob rather than a gas hob. Is the word not used in that sense elsewhere?

It's not used much here any more but I can remember it being used.
