Steven Erickson fan? Or is that just coincidence?

majkia: I'm a Steven Erikson fan for sure. I still have a few books left in the Malazan series, but it's one of my favorite book series ever.

I just finished another book.

39. Bossypants by Tina Fey - 4/5

I really enjoyed this book, it gives a good insight into Tina's career. It's funny and interesting throughout the whole book and that made the book very hard to put down. I especially enjoyed the part about her being Sara Palin on SNL and when she finally got to meet her in person.

Hi, Raymond!
I've just recently read Bossypants, too, and loved it - glad to meet another Fey fan. I'm also cheered to see some Eddings up there in your list!

Quick update. Started and finished The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho in one sitting. Noticed it sitting in my bookshelf and I've been meaning to read it forever. I enjoyed it quite a lot and couldn't put it down.

Finished The Elder Gods by David Eddings. I was quite disappointed in this book, I've enjoyed Eddings other series, but this book wasn't as enjoyable. At the moment I don't think I'm gonna continue with this series.

I felt the same way about The Elder Gods series - not nearly as good as his earlier stuff.

I agree about The Elder Gods series too. I forced myself to finish the first book in it and never continued. On the other hand, I am enjoying the re-read I started of his Belgariad.
