Over the past few years, I've posted a message similar to this in the Austinites Group, and had one response, almost a year after the event. Maybe things will be different this year.

I wish I could go this year (as I have a good friend of over a decade who lives in Austin, I'd have somewhere to stay). Unfortunately, I've been out of work since January, and one of the side effects is that I can't afford the airfare.
