This book was an Edgar Award winner for best young adult mystery. I have to say the mystery was very good. Is it ghosts.. is it someone the kids know... WHO did it?! Wow. I really enjoyed this one, even if I only got the following quote out of it:

"There are a lot of sick minds in the world," she said. "Some of them are insisde people who look very normal on the outside, people you live next to and work with every day in the week. When something fearful happens to disrupt the pattern of their lives, they react."

"But it doesn't make sense."

"Neither do they," she said. p141
