Anyone interested in talking books in world or have a book club they can recommend?

You could try the "Bookstacks" group, they announce quite a few events, among them the "Science Fiction Saturday" hosted by fellow LibraryThinger SimonW11 once a week, and there's the "Alexandrian Free Library" group which also has a lot of events, and a Search for "books" in Groups will turn up even more.

We also have weekly events on Book Island -- Reader's Chat on Saturdays at 11 am, Writer's Chat on Wednesdays at 11 am, Open Mic on Sundays at 1 pm.

How is Second Life doing? I gather it's declined a great deal.
