I'm only recently getting into audiobooks, and I know there will be some I'll want to keep, and others I won't. To me, it makes the most sense to donate unwanted audiobooks to some organization that gets them to visually impaired readers, or to a senior citizens' home/facility. I'd like to know what have folks here on LT done with their unwanted audiobooks?

I try to make getting stuff out of my house as easy as possible. I put my unwanted audio books in with my other books for donation to charities and libraries.

I'm afraid I don't, as the majority are downloaded and unable to be shared/passed on.

As recently as a couple of years ago, my library wouldn't accept any audiobooks, but the policy has changed. I donate my unwanted hard copy audiobooks to the Friends of the library. They sort through them and decide which copies go into circulation and which go on sale in their shop :-)

I dump them on PaperbackSwap and Bookmooch. Of course, those audio books (comprised of a long thin ribbon encapsulated in hard plastic) take a long, long time to unload.
