What a great group!

I was wondering if anyone knew of any biographical books or an accounts from Dickens' daughter Kate. I'm thinking of doing a project with her, and I know a lot of the things she said about her father have been recorded, and I wanted to know if you had any recommendations.

Also, beyond The Friendly Dickens and The Invisible Woman I haven't read much about Dickens, so any biographies would be helpful, too.

Try Dickens by Peter Ackroyd. Massive but worth the time.

Just curious, is Peter any relation to Roger?

There is Katey: The Life and Loves of Dickens's Artist Daughter by Lucinda Hawksley. I borrowed it from my local library recently. Unfortunately I only got a little way through it before having to return it. Quite an interesting biography.
