I'm always on the lookout for books with a vampire protagonist that is either gay or bi, and is a "good" guy, or at least, not a "evil" monster.

Poppy Z. Brite has written a few books/stories about bisexual vampires. Try Lost Souls: It's lushly decadent, with an entire group of important supporting characters being gay and/or bi.

The Fang and Fur by Stormy Glenn and Two Fangs and a Hoof by Joyee Flynn which are part of the Midnight Matings series. There also are a couple in the Purrfect Mates series by Joyee Flynn.

I'd also like to add Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, from the late 19thC. While never stated outright, the female vampire and the main female character do strike up a lesbian relationship.
(both of my suggestions seem really obvious, but I'm throwing them out here because they don't show up in your library)

have you read Hal Bodner's Bite Club (might be hard to find, but worth the effort)- it's about vampires in West Hollywood and a gay vamp is asked to come there to investigate murders. It is interesting and funny. And another older book- Diary of a Vampire by Gary Bowen- really good. Also, Tanya Huff's Blood series features a bi vamp. In most UF there are characters that are gay or bi- whether human, vamp or shifter/were. Seems like that genre is more accepting.

One of my faves, I have a tag just for that: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/GirlMisanthrope&tag=gay%2Bvampires

Try Unnatural, Unwelcome, and Unafraid by Michael Griffo. They are a bit young adult, but I really enjoyed them!

Just wanted to say a big Thank you for starting this thread and giving all those recommendations, at least two books will go on my wishlist. Wish I could add some suggestions myself but the books I know have already been mentioned.

I'm a gay author and in my vampire books, I didn't outright call anyone gay but I certainly alluded to it. I'm not sure how subtle I was in the process.

Perfect Shadows by Siobhan Burke. Christopher Marlowe, after his mysterious early death, not quite dead and with a score to settle.
The Withrow Chronicles by Michael G. Williams, whose protagonist is something of an anti-Edward. Overweight, not exactly pretty, but smart and funny. And gay, though IIRC he doesn't get much action until later in the series because he's too busy with more pressing matters.

I've just added a lesbian vampire romance called Licked by a Vampire on Amazon Kindle.
