Recent viewings

I raided the Blockbuster Online surreal films and packed my queue with them. Also, in recent months I watched "Bullet Collector" and "Gandu", both from Artsploitation Films. They are both on video, the former from Russia and the latter from India, and both are very good. I have an Andy Milligan film coming in the mail, and I think a Guy Maddin film or two soon. I am currently collecting 1970's filmed porn on DVD, viewing it as experimental.

Bookwise, I have been stocking up on film, erotica, and horror books. Many of the film survey books cover underground and experimental movements (I am a transgressive film fan). I frequent used book sales and overstock stores, finding such gems as Images: My Life in Film by Ingmar Bergman, and POPism: The Warhol Sixties by Andy Warhol.
