Well, this site seems to be what I'd call a group commonplace book, so perhaps a cover from here: http://www.librarything.com/work/64013
or here: http://www.librarything.com/work/121815

Which one do you like?

You can put the picture in our gallery if you'd like, and we can alternate off and on.....if you come across any other thoughts, feel free to share it.

Thank you Osbaldistone, for joining the group, and for your contributions!!
Enjoy your weekend.

Well, the second one is more interesting to look at, but the title is a bit mangled. But I don't think being able to quickly spot the title is all that critical. The first is rather boring. I'll put the Alec Guiness (second choice) up on the site, and anyone can change them as they wish. I alos like the current primary image, as I like tea, and the image is quite comforting, much like a commonplace book.

Well that looks rather good. Thanks Os.

I liked the cup-o-tea also in the picture I posted.

I like the green tea I get in the neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but I've never been able to brew it myself the way I like it. I've varied the water temp, the brew time, the amount of tea, and the type of tea, but no luck. So it's black tea at home. Perhaps I should pay the local restaurant to teach me to brew green tea. :-)

The tea box is wonderful. When I'm employed again, I might look into one of these, if I can bear to spend disposable income on it instead of books. I have the smoker/humidor that belonged to my grandfather - a small, wooden cabinet on tall legs which stood next to his comfy chair. It was lined with copper for much the same reason as the aluminium on the tea box - to keep out the humidity. But, of course, it was for tobacco, not tea. The door is on the front, not the top, and it has a small shelf where pipe and cigar paraphanalia were kept handy. If he'd used it for tea instead of tobacco, he probably would have lived long enough for me to really remember him. I can just recall him sitting in his chair, smoking, and, occasionally standing up. I remember this because he was about 6'3" and I was about 5 yrs old, so he was a giant. My grandmother was 4'11" - much more my size.

When looking for a picture of a tea box, I ran across one for sale. The seller said that it was lined with tin to keep the tea cool! Not sure about the physics in that, but the seller suggested in might be a good substitute for a refrigerator for a too-small apartment!
