Garden Bloggers' Book Club - Aug-Sept Selection

For the Garden Bloggers' Book Club August - September selection, I am selecting a garden mystery. Does anyone have any to recommend?

Though I cannot remember the series name, there are several mysteries involving a woman who became a TV "in the garden" personality and naturally ended up solving murders. She was from D.C., had a family, with a husband who worked in the intellegence community. It's been years since I read these - does anyone have a clue as to it's identity?
I will try to think of others.

Could the author be Ann Ripley? I'm pretty sure I read some of those a while back, and she does write gardening mysteries.

Susan Wittig Albert has a whole series of herbal mysteries. They are very fun, and usually have recipes included.

Susan Wittig Albert is great - I like her mysteries. Plus (bonus) she's a LibraryThing member. Her first herbal mystery was Thyme of Death, I think.

These are the kinds of mysteries I was thinking of. Has anyone read mysteries by Heather Webber?

Heather Webber is new to me. I looked up her website www.heatherwebber.com and was introduced to her Nina Quinn character. Webber's book Digging for Trouble seems fun. LT's touchstones do not recognize her, though.
