Earlier this year, the Jocotoco Foundation published a new Fieldbook of the Birds of Ecuador, including the Galápagos Islands by Miles McMullan and Lelis Navarrete. The format is similar to the Field Guide to the Birds of Colombia. I have not had the opportunity to use the guide myself, but an extensive review by Juan Freile was published in the latest edition of Neotropical Birding, NB13.
