I know, me neither. I was actually a naysayer about this one up until the minute it was officially announced. Now, however, words cannot describe how excited I am that thousands of fans will be able to read these incredible comics for the first time. 8)

Yes, I remember a "don't hold your breath" comment ;). But now I can hold it until 2014.
Regarding the Miracleman (probably Marvelman) revival, I want it all: The Hardcovers, promotional posters, action figures, whatever.
In Brazil the Dream of Flying was published in Black and White and it served the art very well, mainly the Garry Leach's art. Actually, it was the only book published.

I haven't bought floppies in ages, but you can bet your sweet bippy I'm gonna buy every single issue of this series, just in case, by some act of God and/or Alan Moore (and there's not really that much difference betwen the two as far as comics fans are concerned, is there?) they don't get collected in trade paperback form.

>5 artturnerjr: Hey now, some of us comic fans have serious issues with Moore.

Wow.

A five-page preview of Miracleman #1 from Comic Book Resources. Looks like Marvel is pulling out all the stops for this one.

The coloring is great. It is a brand-new comic again!

It's beautiful, isn't it? Check out this side-by-side comparison of the old art vs. the new art - it's pretty breathtaking, actually:

Wow. The care and attention they've devoted to it is . . . it's quite something. Vonnegut said it best: "If this isn't nice, I don't know what is."

If you wait enough, things get reprinted -- we live in the era of the reprints - it had never been easier to be a GN and comics fan.
And this is one series that needed a reprint:)

Hi Annie. Long time, no read.

Yeah... had been in a funky mood the last few months - almost not reading at all; had not touched comics since... July probably. Slowly getting back to normal so should be around again :)

Nice to see you back in these parts, Annie. :)
