Manuscript Road Trip is a blog which takes readers on a “virtual” road trip to explore digitized collections of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts throughout the United States. This tour will highlight great collections and also focus on less-well-known collections, some in very surprising locations. The blog is by Dr. Lisa Fagin Davis, the Acting Executive Director of the Medieval Academy of America, who is well versed in the subject. It is hosted by WordPress.com.

Manuscript Road Trip: The Promise of Digital Fragmentology

Blog from July 2015 discusses the most interesting topic of tracking down and digitally re-assembling manuscripts, who's leaves and fragments are now widely dispersed.

Very interesting and well-worth reading. Something that is now becoming a reality and made much easier as more institutions digitize their collections and advances in technology simplify the process.
