I haven't finished this yet - but, anyone else reading it?

Finished it a few weeks ago. It's not as wall-of-inescapable-horror as The Shining, but I liked it well enough. More for Dan and his story than for Abra who I didn't quite buy.

In the middle of the book. Certainly not a horror book, but still finding it enjoyable.

I thought it was excellent, agreed not full-on early-King horror but probably my favourite SK book for a while.

I thought it was excellent, and enjoyed that there was more character development than straight-on horror. I can tolerate only so much unrelenting horror and terror.

A lot of King's work is more psychological, especially in the past couple decades. I prefer it, he does it very well.

I liked it more than many other recent King novels. I empathized with Dan's character and I liked how King resolved his story.
