VeeInNY's Booksale Finds then Lost on a Shelf

I love book sales and often bring home treasures, only to set them aside... I have several "necessary" reading projects, but in addition, here are the first three jewels I hope will be "mined" from the dusty shelves:
A Prayer for Owen Meany. by John Irving
The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien
On Writing: A memoir of the craft by Stephen King
