Saturday the 28th - who's in? What time would be good?

Sounds like fun! I'd vote for morning, although it would depend on when/whether I can get a babysitter.

I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be in town that day, but if so, I'll be free all day and would love to get together!

Any idea on the place?

Well, for those of us who might be interested in an excuse to come to Cambridge/Boston from some distance, anything "afternoon"-ish could be made to work. ("Evening" could also be made to work, but "morning" is definitely less convenient for the out-of-towners.)

Yeah, I think afternoon/early evening is probably more doable all around... 3-4ish? We do have a "place" - it's in Cambridge outside of Harvard Square. I'll leave it to Tim to post more details on that end though.

I would definitely be interested!

I'm in! Afternoon/early evening is good for me too.

It's a possibility, I'd think that the time of day would depend mainly on what's the idea for the meetup? If it's getting together at a bookstore - morning/afternoon. If it's a pub gettogether, morning would pretty much be out of the question!

It's in a back yard :)

Will anyone be bringing children?

Should we bring food, wine, or something to contribute to the festivities?

Not sure yet if we can attend, though it sounds great.

(I know that, strictly speaking, we are not Bostonians, but my mother was from Boston so I hope that's a close enough connection :) )

I plan to be there.

Alright, I'll definitely be coming. Please let me know what I can bring!

I'll be there! At least for a little while. Any preferences on microbrews?

MaggieO and I are coming.

MMcM: since we met, we've started using PalmThing.
(15,000 books on a $15 Palm Zire....) I look forward to thanking you in person.

I'll be out of town at a conference Friday and Saturday, so I'm looking forward to the next LibraryThing thing in Boston.

I'm hoping to come, depending on kids' nap schedules and so forth.

I'm also hoping to come!

Bob and I are planning to bring some foodlike contributions for the party, but we are also putting together a box of books to bring and give away. (We have plenty of books to spare - we hope some other LTers will want to adopt them!)

So Tim, when are you going to get around to making a group for people who attended? My mind is a steel trap for books, not names!

I'm so sad to have missed it! Just didn't work out that day with the kids and the naps and all. I hope there will be another event in the not-too-distant future.
