Could anyone suggest some additional reading on King John and his reign/policies?
I just finished (second time) Dan Jones, The Plantagenets, in which, in my view, he gives a balanced account of King John's reign.

Leopards and Lillies by Alfred duggan, King John by William Shakespeare, Here be Dragons and devil's brood by Sharon K. Penman, for fiction, though the Penman's are pretty well researched..
