I'm next in posting a challenge from an alphabetical point of view. Mark your calendar; see you here on March 15th for a new challenge!
If everyone invited one guest, we could bulk up challenge participation a bit. Just a thought...

Here is the challenge URL for the game to end on the last day of March.
I had a terrible time with my computer (Safari, I suspect) trying to get a full GeoGuessr game completed without freezing up. So I decided to play 10 minute limit rounds. So that you can play anyway you want, including untimed rounds, I just used the stop watch on my cell phone and my ever vigilant wife to time the rounds.
I was off to a really good start with helpful signs right at the opening of play on round one and some luck and ended with a not-even-close to repeated 4 km/6125 points. The rest of the games weren't quite so fortuitous.
On round two (81/3417); pretty respectably close and in the right country for a short timed game.
On round three, I was two countries away (554/2398). I could claim that I was slowed down by muddy road repairs, but I didn't want any hoots from you folks.
Round four, at least I was in the right country and so-so round (426/2501).
Round five went fairly completely to pot with a wide difference from the "pin" (941/2201). So, a total of 16642 points.
I am getting to the point where I can usually "tell," if not which country I'm in visually, generally at least the area I'm floundering about in. In one of my other untimed games, in round four of a set, I was sure at the get-go that I was in northern scandinavia or nearby north west Russia from the vegetation and lack of people. I was on a dirt road and, when I got to a little unmarked settlement, I noticed that the houses were somewhat weathered. At that point I voted for Russia. Unfortunately, the dirt road went on forever with no readable signs and I finally gave up and finally just picked a (not-so-good) spot. Safari then froze which was unfortunate since I wanted to brag about the first round in that set-game in which I got my best ever round score (0.009 km/6478 points). So, I did...
If you can, ask a friend to play as well.

I didn't keep a note of the score for each round. Is it possible to go back and find them?
The last one was a challenge, not being familiar with the script, but managed a total score of 32391.

Tomorrow, I hope. Or this weekend.
>3 jbarret: you can only go back if you saved the URL. You could approximate it by replaying and entering your approximate answers. But with a score of 32k+, you couldn't have had much spread in your rounds. I think that at 6500 maximum possible per round and five rounds, the maximum possible score is 32500. So you must have been near-bullseye on every turn, right?

What, no sandy roads this time? I'm disappointed. :-)
Safari certainly adds an extra element of randomness to GeoGuesser, especially on the iPad where it tends to crash as soon as you move off down the road.
I got 18435 by the standing still and looking around method this time. I could probably have done better if I'd spent a bit more time gathering clues, especially in the round that turned out to be very close to where I spent last weekend! I was pretty close to the target in Rounds 4 and 5, in the right country but wrong region in rounds 1 and 3, and several countries away in round 2.

>3 jbarret: Good score!
To answer your question, I don't know of any way to go back and get your score for the five rounds individually once you are done playing a game. To my knowledge, there is no way to go back in any way except as below.
If you have the URL for the game, you can go back and look at the globe record with the pins in place for the players and the pin itself. Although if, say, five people had played the game it might be difficult on a globe to figure who is who, assuming that they are all fairly close.
That was the problem with my computer freezing. Essentially, the game is over if it freezes, although I could have noted the game URL before I started and replayed it. But, if you froze while on the start of round 4, say, to go back and start the same game anew doesn't seem right because you played rounds 1, 2 & 3 before and you have that knowledge packed in your head or on paper and you have seen the game goal pins for the same rounds.
Great minds & all that... I had to re do the last paragraph here, or I would have beaten you to the punch.

Thanks for the tips.
I found each location, but only with a lot of travelling around, and certainly not with a time limit. So a couple of hours easily went by, or perhaps more. That included some time on wikipedia looking at the script for the last one, and translating it into English.

Sorry everyone. I tried to get the game in tonight, but my computer crashed after 4 rounds. Well to be precise, I had to give up my working computer to my high schooler who had to do his homework, leaving me to the creaky old laptop that I try to avoid. The game won't work on my ipad.
Anyway, I had 25548 after the first four rounds, and frankly I am not fond of Cyrillic scripts. But that is neither here nor there.
Oh well. I did what I could. I was hoping for half an hour earlier to get in under the March 31 deadline. Fun though!

Thanks for the try, SE. If you extrapolate out the score after 4 of the 5 rounds, a full game would have been almost to 32,000, if my fingers and toes are accurate, a more than respectable score. Nice to see you!
If my alphabetical knowledge is accurate, Jbarret should be the one to do the honors and kick us off with a challenge game on April 15th. If jbarret would use as the topic heading or title:
Geoguessr - 2014 April 15 Challenge
that would be great & ask for results by others on or before April 30th in the text of your message. Thank You!
If anyone reading this knows of others that would find this interesting, challenging or fun, please encourage them to participate.
