Moving to Eugene

Hi everybody...at the end of May, I'm moving from Chicago to join my girlfriend in Eugene. I've already discovered the Smith Family Bookstore on a visit, so I expect to make regular stops there. Other recommendations? My main interests are philosophy, linguistics, and similar academic press topics.

I love the Smith bookstore too. I don't really know Eugene apart from the U district. But if you visit Portland I can definitely help there!

Welcome to Oregon!

I've only passed through Eugene, but I have a friend or two there. I moved from Chicago to Ashland. It's better here :-)
