Very nice surprise!
"re-creating the rare, illustrated First Edition format"
At $147, it's not cheap for one volume, but not outrageously expensive either. That said, there are going to be 1908 copies apparently since the book was released in the year 1908. 1908 copies does not sound like a limited edition!

I just ordered my copy yesterday. Can't wait to get it.

I'm really curious as to how many a regular production is on a particular book. Is it a DLE because it is hand numbered? There are quite a few books that already includes slipcases that are not considered DLE. Folio does the same though like their Metamorphoses with 2750 copies.

I finally received my copy, but I don't see where it is hand numbered? Does anyone know?

>5 Louise.Hoelscher: Should be after the end pages just before the title page.

Can't find it anywhere so I wrote to EP and got this reply:
My sincere apologies – we were made aware of the problem but unfortunately the books had already shipped out.
Management will be sending a letter shortly giving you options on what to do regarding this.
Good grief.....

Dropped the ball on this, didn't they! On the other hand, you now have a "rare" unnumbered, numbered deluxe edition :P

>7 Louise.Hoelscher: Aside from that error what do you think about the book? Quality wise etc...since you're not fond of slipcases, are you leaving it in or out? lol

The quality isn't great, not for that price anyway. The first couple, and the last couple, pages are bound too tight. I feel like the book will crack if I open it too wide. However, I love the slipcase, hahaha. It's not cheap cardboard like Folio's. I'm not sure what it's made of but I love the texture, and the fact that the cover is reprinted on it. This slipcase I'm keeping :-)
