The books, in publication order, are as follows:
Redwall
Mossflower
Mattimeo
Mariel of Redwall
Salamandastron
Martin the Warrior
The Bellmaker
Outcast of Redwall
Pearls of Lutra
The Long Patrol
Marlfox
The Legend of Luke
Lord Brocktree
Taggerung
Triss
Loamhedge
Rakkety Tam
High Rhulain
Eulalia!
The chronological order of the stories is somewhat different than the publication order. Chronologically, Lord Brocktree, Martin the Warrior, Mossflower, The Legend of Luke, Outcast of Redwall, Mariel of Redwall, The Bellmaker, and Salamandastron all come before Redwall (in that order), and Mattimeo, The Pearls of Lutra, The Long Patrol, Marlfox, Taggerung, Triss, Loamhedge, Rakkety Tam, and High Rhulain all come after Redwall (again, in that order).
Eulalia! also comes after Redwall, but I don't know precisely where it falls in the overall chronology. It most likely comes after High Rhulain.
I love this series, and I have for years. There are still a few books I need to read (I own all of them, but have not read all of them).

I have yet to read/complete The Long Patrol, Marlfox, Triss, Loamhedge, and Rakkety Tam. I'm currently in the midst of Eulalia! and will probably finish it sometime tomorrow.
As far as favorites go, it's really hard to say. I'm finding that I tend to like the later books better than the earliest ones. I really enjoyed reading Taggerung, and I'm loving Eulalia!.

I agree taggerung was one of my favorites too. I also liked Rakkety Tam I found it was a different twist from the usual redwall. as was lord brocktree beeing, redwall was never in the book

One of the best scenes ever is in The Long Patrol. A noble snd touching sacrifice by Rockjaw Grang. The Long Patrol, Martin the Warrior, Marlfox and Lord Brocktree are my favorites.

the best part in Mariel of redwall (which is my favorite one) was when hon Rosie, clary, thyme and pakatugg sacrifice themselves to save the slaves
