Well, the month's almost halfway over, but better late than never. I'm currently rereading Sabriel by Garth Nix. I hadn't read this one in ages, so I figured it was time to give my paperback copy a workout. I've really enjoyed the world-building and the whole undead plot, but I had forgotten how lame the romance was. It's all "Hey, I just met you yesterday and this is probably really bad timing because we're probably going to die, but I think I love you." I need more to go on than that, Mr. Nix.
I think a reread of Melina Marchetta's Finnikin of the Rock is in order next.
