There's some "ghost" writing on this letter; someone clearly wrote something by hand, pressing down quite hard, on a sheet that was on top of this letter. One word ends in -ing, and the "g" looks like the "g" in LeGuin's signature. It makes me want to blow up the letter and try to read the hand-written note.

Anybody with a couple hours to kill want to try decoding it?
