Here in Reich Wing South Eastern Ohio, home of John Boehner and the only Federal Court to misinterpret the Equal Protection Clause our library systems have only the voters protecting them and, so far they have been successful. Educating the masses is against the ruling class's best interest so Ohio's schools and libraries have suffered at the hands to recent governors. Even the last Democrat, who called himself the "Education Governor" focused in giving education funds to construction companies rather than educators.

Libraries and unions, both fighting a rearguard action. My local library is turning into a jobsearch training centre/ computer café. Less room for bookshelves.
