It is an eclectic list but I was very disappointed in it and in the list of historians who made it. I was most disappointed in the brevity of the explanation of each persons importance. Sam Gompers as the lone representative of the labor movement?

It doesn't seem to be a very progressive list.

No, progressive it is not. Gompers was the least progressive of the labor leaders. I would like to see a list that consulted ten of Howard Zinn's grad students. Maybe toss Noam Chomsky in the mix.
