Ha. Well, a lot of my books are in storage right now, so I am currently focusing on eBooks. I am debating on whether to get the new Prospero War novel in eBook format (I probably will, though I dislike spending money on electronic formats rather than physical ones).
I am currently working through the Mahouka series (though not all is translated yet). Either the translations or the original writing is somewhat poor, but the world is so engaging that I am putting up with it. Much like how I felt reading the Harry Potter series to my children (& myself).

While I enjoyed both Elantris and Mistborn, I have to say that Mistborn is better. The first book was fabulous, and the other two almost as good. If you enjoyed Elantris, you'll probably like Mistborn. Lots of intrigue, and more violence. Vin is a wonderful character.
I just finished the Alloy of Law, which is more steam punk in that it is set in the Mistborn world's Industrial Revolution/Wild West time period. The main character is a sheriff. A bit lighter than I was expecting.

A mixed bag. I bought it for the Seanan McGuire story about Antimony. It wasn't horrible, but any rereads will definitely be pick and choose.

Haven't read the Chicagoland Vampire series but really liked Sparrow Hill Road--what did you think of it?
79nexist
Sorry, I missed this when it first came up. I went to Japan and moved, yadda yadda.
Anyway, Sparrow hill was entertaining. I like Seanan McGuire. Here InCryptid Novels have been quite enjoyable. I generally dislike short stories, but she can pull from the rest of the mythos in her novels (Sparrow Road is iin the same world as the InCryptid novels). When the underlying theme of the stories start to gel, the book really took off.
Chicagoland Vampires is by a different author. Good, but I fear her Supernatural Romance background may overtake the Urban Fantasy. If you enjoy Seanan, you may also enjoy the October Daye novels as well.

Oh, I DO like the October Daye series very much! I didn't reread the entire oeuvre prior this time, as I'd just done that for the previous book.
And hurrah for hitting the 75 book mark!!!

Generally, if a year or so has passed since the last book, I reread. Sometimes, this takes a while, e.g. when a new book in the Honorverse comes out... However, each time I read the books, I find new details or recall little facts that make it so worthwhile.
