Dreaming Spies by Laurie R. King is her latest Sherlock Holmes / Mary Russell pastiche. As with many of King's mystery novels, she leans on excellent descriptive research of the areas involved, good writing and the expected turns of a good novel. This one doesn't disappoint, despite the limited engagement of Holmes, and narrative by Mary Russell.
