I think I have to accept that reviewing is not my thing & no matter how much I like the idea of writing something about each book I read - I just don't do it *sigh* So this thread really is just to keep track of what I read this year. All books will be added to this post & any comments in separate posts :)
Here’s my rating system:
= terrible, I couldn't finish it (I havn't found a book yet that would get this rating)
= not so good, wouldn't recommend to others, but something kept me going to the end
= an enjoyable read
= a really good read, would recommend to others
= Wow! It’s on my favourites list & I think everyone should read it!

Snugglepot & Cuddlepie was very cute! At one point I was reading on the couch with the cricket on the TV & was reading about the characters watching a game of cricket - made me giggle!

Happy New Year! Glad you've been able to liberate the Lindskold books from the mailroom.

Really enjoyed Through Wolf's Eyes :) Most books I've read recently that I've liked this much have been re-reads so this feels like the first time in a while that I've learned a new world (to me) that I like this much & its quite exciting :)
There's a particular relationship that's a bit spoiled for me because I read Wolf's Blood first, but it's spoiled in a good way :)
Dove straight into book 2 & am really looking forward to the rest of the series :)

*sigh* I am so bad at keeping on top of these threads of mine! Thankfully the books I read tend to get piled on the bedside table in the order I've read them, so I can easily update what I've read - but no idea on the dates so I've just put in an educated guess on the month...
On a brighter note, looks like I've been pretty pleased with my reading so far this year - most of what I've read I've also recommended :)

The Chronicles of the Tree was a lovely series! What an interesting world, hard to picture cities in tree tops & hard to picture the scale of a tree so big it can support multiple cities - sometimes I wondered if the people were tiny rather than the tree huge? Either way it's a lovely world & a really enjoyable story despite being difficult for me to imagine clearly :)

>6 Seanie: I enjoyed Through Wolf's Eyes but never got into book two. Maybe soon...

I do recommend it fuzzi!
I enjoyed book 1 of the Kate Elliott series quite a bit! I was tossing up between 3.5 & 4 stars, but I think I liked the Mary Victoria books a bit more so decided to go with 3.5...
