February:
All Mortal Flesh, Julia Spencer-Flemming--did not like this change in the series.
Winter at the Door,Sarah Graves--enjoyed this new series--4 stars
Girl on the Train, Paula Hawkins--Not so much, just ok, pretty dark and circular
Winter World, Bernd Heinrich --loved it
Eating on The Wild Side, Jo Robinson--love it, keep re-reading parts
Currently reading
Alan Turing: The Enigma, Andrew Hodges --fantastic so far
Staring At The Sun, Irvin Yalom--interesting
I like how others have planned out their reading for the year. I'm not that organized. I love the idea of this reading challenge.

Ok so not sure really how to update my list but I'm going to try. The currently reading books need to be moved into my Feb 2015 list and I need to add a new currently reading title. Here goes I'll see if this works.

Yep, worked just fine! Let me know if you have more questions on how the site works - I'm happy to help.
Interesting comment on Girl on the Train. It caught my eye and I'm curious why it didn't work for you.

No it wasn't that it didn't work for me--in fact the darned thing is growing on me since I wrote that comment--as it settles in my mind. If anything it had me firmly in its thriller head lock. Yes, it was dark and I thought the writing was circular in that it captured the really drunken and troubled state of the main character. It just kept cycling around and around letting us see new glimmers of insight and info with each section.
It was scary but I felt like I was one step ahead of the women in the book willing them to not get on the train, open the door...the way a thriller should. In some ways I wanted more from the book. What did you think?

Oh, I haven't read it yet. I was hoping to get an idea from you about whether to pursue it. Sounds like I should!

It's a strange book. I hope I didn't say too much! I kept not liking it while reading--but it but in the end I guess I did like it. I think there may be more to it than it seems on face value. As I said it grew on me after I finish it. It is a quick read.

Nah, you didn't say too much for me. I'm not real sensitive to spoilers. Thanks for the info - on my list it goes!

Well when you are finished please let me know what you think about it. I would love to hear your thoughts.
