I've noticed that some of the books on Early Reviewers, especially the Member Giveaways are given out, but they never make it to press. For example, Luminary by Tracy Marchini has never been published according to her website, and confirmed by facebook. I know A Debate With An Economist by Sérgio Afonso is the same as well. Is there any way we can remove them from the LT website?

No, you cannot remove anyone else's data from LibraryThing. People are free to enter non-existent books.

Besides they are not non-existant, just unpublished.

ER and MG are two different things. And if you don't get the book that's been won on MG I do believe it doesn't hurt your chances of getting one on ER.

This post really has nothing to do with either ER or MG. People have entered books that were not published, and the OP is upset about it. That these happened to be ER or MG offerings is beside the point.

A Debate With An Economist has zero members...won't that title eventually disappear? Also, it looks like Luminary was added by the author. If she deleted her copy, it would also be a zero member title at some point, right?

0 copy editions don't disappear. They just don't show on the author page.
