Would love to see a movie from this series

Wouldn't it be great if they made a movie from these books like they did the HP series. I would definitely think the movies would be best sellers. Who do you think should play Bella and who could play the alluring, enchanting Edward? I am thinking Zack Eafron for Edward?

I just finished the first book, "Twillight", and am anxiously awaiting for the library to call me that they have "New Moon" available for me to pick up.
By the way I am not a teen and love these books. My saw Stephenie Meyer featured on a television news show and asked that I check the book from the library. He read it and then I started it. My 17 year old daughter who is an avid reader is also reading it. We all want to continue in the series.

They are making a movie. They guy who plays Cederic Diggory is going to be Edward! Yay! I'm sorry, but Zac Efron is NOT a good Edward, just my opinion. He looks too young and squishy. Edward is a mature, rock solid beast, and Zac just doesn't cut it.

I would have loved to have seen Leland Orser as Carlisle Cullen. Unfortunately, he's a little old at this point to portray the young doctor. He is exactly as I'd pictured Carlisle reading the books.

The movie will be great. Stephenie seems happy with what she's seen so far. If she's happy, so am I.

Zac Efron IS ugly!!!!! EDward cullen is HOT!!!!!!!!! (I dont care the little girl down the street says, lol)

The only thing i don't like about Rob is ( don't kill, beat, or torture me ) that he has alot of double-standereds (from what I've heard). And I have a terrible sense of what is just dumb gossip and whats the real stuff. But I'm sure somebody will set me strait if I'm wrong... ;)

nah, your totally right half the gossip about him is fake. In an interview he said that he google's himself! (googaall lol ) and that he says it's funny seeing all the weird stories about him! such as: when someone asked him about his hair he made a joke saying he doesn't wash it and then like a week later it was all over the internet that he has poor hygene and never washes his hair!? so some of the things he says as joke are often blown out of proportion (sp?) but thats kinda his own fault i guess b/c you think he would watch what he says when he's in the public eye!?!

The only reason I put that part in there was, well, ( half was for the fun of it) and the other half was b/c in an other post I almost got (theoretically (sp?) of-course) locked in a sound-proof room with country music playing full-blast *shudders*. Lolz ;)

34: I guess I just get Rob's humor since I'm also British coz I can tell when he's joking and find it funny when people take what he says in jest literally. My humor's very like his and I've found that some people can't always tell when I'm joking either.

As far as Rob's hair ... well ... it does look like he never washes it for weeks sometimes. Have never understood how he could walk out his apartment with hair that bad to a camera-popping event. You could fry chips (fries) in his hair sometimes. He tends to go from one extreme to the next ... looking like a jaw-dropping hunk to looking like he desperately needs an introduction to shampoo.

lol same, Aussie humour and British humour is very similar, he is quite sarcastic at times which i think is hilarious and i totally get it b/c i can be a little sarcastic at times..

yeah, he said in an interview that eventually it washes itself, which is really gross. And i agree in some photo's he looks a little odd but when he does choose to bathe he looks damn fine! I think he wears that black beanie hat thing whenever he is having a bad hair day!

He's said in two or three interviews I've seen that he does bathe. I think he just doesn't wash his hair when he does.

yeah, i guess it's different for guys they can just put on a hat (as he does) or just walk down the street with greasy hair becasue it's short and less noticable, but still pretty gross!

Shannon said that if you don't wash your hair for six weeks, it gets really gross but then after the six weeks, it goes back to being normal. That is weird!
