Aug 30, 2007, 9:16 pm

Actually, I graduate in December, and I want Madam Pince's job -- she's definitely a woman who needs to retire, and I could have such a good time as the Hogwarts librarian.

32Kerian
Aug 30, 2007, 9:33 pm

The dream, huh? :)

33foggidawn
Aug 30, 2007, 9:34 pm

34Kerian
Aug 30, 2007, 9:37 pm

The head of Hogwarts. Oh!

I wand a phoenix! Well - maybe not, birds freak me out. The idea sounds nice, though.

43foggidawn
Aug 30, 2007, 10:20 pm

Hmmm. . . what else can we greedy children want?

I want a little bottle of Felix Felicis.

44Kerian
Aug 30, 2007, 10:23 pm

45Always_Reading
Aug 30, 2007, 10:28 pm

Hm..a three headed dog may be nice for gaurding vast amounts of property.
The dog food's probably too expensive.

46Kerian
Aug 30, 2007, 10:32 pm

Hehe. I imagine so.

How about a truth potion?

47Always_Reading
Aug 30, 2007, 10:33 pm

oooooh...
can i get a small bottle for 2 sickles and 5 knuts?

48foggidawn
Aug 30, 2007, 10:34 pm

Actually, it might be best to just have the Half-Blood Prince's textbook, with all of his notes . . . then we could make our own potions.

49Kerian
Aug 30, 2007, 10:36 pm

#47 Always:
Sure thing. Cough it up. ;)

#48 foggi:
Ooh, you would like that, wouldn't you? ;)

50Always_Reading
Aug 30, 2007, 10:39 pm

*mumbles about losing key to vault*

And as for that potion book, anyone know a spell for duplicating books? I'd like one o' them too!

51foggidawn
Aug 30, 2007, 10:40 pm

(bit of a Book 6 spoiler here:)

#49 -- Well, I'd take potion-making lessons as well as occlumency, if he's offering. ;-)

52Always_Reading
Aug 30, 2007, 10:40 pm

My sister says that she wants a wand so she can use the accio charm to summon virtually anything.

53suge
Aug 30, 2007, 10:55 pm

A howler. How awesome are they?!

54foggidawn
Aug 30, 2007, 10:57 pm

I'd say a Remembrall, but I'd probably lose it. . .

55Kerian
Edited: Aug 30, 2007, 11:00 pm

57Kerian
Aug 31, 2007, 12:24 am

Hehe. Good one!

Oh, here's an even better one:
A room of requirement!

58DeusExLibris
Edited: Aug 31, 2007, 1:08 am

Well, I think a wand and a letter from Hogwarts is an obvious thing for anyone who's a fan, including myself. Personally, I'd kind of like a grandfather clock like the Weasley's. Can you imagine the looks on people's faces when they come to visit and see that crazy thing? Priceless.

Although I wouldn't mind having a dragon either. Better than a guard dog, thats for sure, probably prohibitively expensive when it comes to feeding 'em though.

59Kerian
Aug 31, 2007, 12:56 am

The Weasley clock - of course! There's nothing like it. :) LOL.

60pollysmith

61gpwts
Aug 31, 2007, 8:31 am

62Kerian
Aug 31, 2007, 11:09 am

#61 gpwts:
No kidding. We all know which Weasley, too. ;)

63ChelseaB-ley
Aug 31, 2007, 12:36 pm

I want a wand (wait I already have one, thanks foggi!), an invisibility cloak, a Nimbus 2007 or Firestorm or whatever the new broom is, the Weasley Clock, to know the spell Hermione put on her bag, a pensieve, a letter informing me I'm going to Hogwarts, and... Maybe I'm being a little too greedy. Well those are seven things I want.

But most of all I want:

64Kerian
Aug 31, 2007, 12:39 pm

Hmm, I was going to say he's too young for you, but maybe he's not. :)

65pollysmith
Aug 31, 2007, 12:40 pm

you mean you want round glasses?

66littlegeek
Aug 31, 2007, 12:42 pm

I wanted this thread not to devolve into Tiger Beat, but it was not to be.

As long as we've crossed the line, I get first dibs on Sirius, suge. (so there!)

67ChelseaB-ley
Aug 31, 2007, 12:51 pm

#64 He's actually a little older than me. So we're perfect together.

#65 Yes Polly. I want round glasses. See I'm being a good girl. *smiles innocently*

68suge
Aug 31, 2007, 12:53 pm

#66--> Hi you've reached Suge, sorry I'm on vacation in Majorca with Sirius, leave us a message and we'll completely ignore you, and never get back to you when we return! bye! *beeeeeeeeeeep*

(btw JK must like Majorca because I can think of at least two times where she mentioned it)

69Jenson_AKA_DL
Aug 31, 2007, 12:53 pm

>56 suge: Me too!

I also want Harry's vault (and everything in it) at Gringotts. I'm feeling rather greedy today.

78grkmwk
Aug 31, 2007, 1:47 pm

Kerian, great call on wanting a Room of Requirement! And foggi, I'm thinking that Hogwarts actually needs TWO librarians, so what you do say?? ;o) I had the chance last year to visit Oxford and see where the movies are filmed, including the library...wow, oh wow, oh wow!

79lady_carrie1980
Aug 31, 2007, 3:04 pm

82foggidawn
Aug 31, 2007, 4:06 pm

Feeling antisocial, suge? Trelawney, Howlers, and a Whomping Willow? Or is all this to keep LG out and Sirius in?

83littlegeek
Aug 31, 2007, 4:08 pm

#81 Anyone we know? ;-)

#82 It's just sexual frustration.

84MEM82
Aug 31, 2007, 4:11 pm

#83 LOL I'd probably send my whole family to the hospital on a holiday if the dinner lasted too long hehehehe Mom would be last to get something shoved up her nose because she's usually the cook8) Gotta make sure all the fixin' were on the table before sending her off.

85suge
Edited: Aug 31, 2007, 4:19 pm

lol you guys are craaaazay!

foggi, In my defense those posts were made after riding on the train, a constant thorn on my side. The subway has a very adverse effect on me, it brings out all my worse quirks.

edtied b/c: I don't know no "goggi", do you?

87Kerian
Aug 31, 2007, 9:04 pm

#78 grkmwk:
Thanks. :)

LOL. I could do with a break from family on holidays, too. I'm very family oriented, but I always distance myself and feel like crawling in a hole on those days. Some reason, they get me pretty depressed.

88MEM82
Aug 31, 2007, 9:48 pm

#87 me too Kerian. I'm always depressed during the holiday season though now I can't mope about cuz i have to play it up for the kids. Oh and I'm forced to endure my in-laws who aren't bad people just ... different.

89foggidawn
Aug 31, 2007, 10:15 pm

Well we can all be depressed together this holiday season for our different reasons. My parents just moved to Russia, and I won't be able to see them for Christmas, for the first time ever.

Gosh, this thread just took a downhill turn, and I'm not helping, am I?

Well, I want a few Chocolate Frogs to cheer me up, and some butterbeer!

90gpwts
Aug 31, 2007, 10:59 pm

unfortunately I'm not depressed so I'm not help!

91Kerian
Edited: Aug 31, 2007, 11:25 pm

Chocolate all around. I think we could use it's effects.

And we can't forget the cards themselves. If we weren't feeling so down, they'd be the best part.

92foggidawn
Aug 31, 2007, 11:23 pm

Mmm! Just what I needed. Or, at least, what I wanted. ;-)
